Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Indian citizens, subjects of Nepal, or persons of Indian origin from select countries (with certificate of eligibility, if required).

Selection Process
Shortlisting: Based on engineering percentage (cut-off decided by Army).
SSB Interview:
- Conducted in Bhopal, Bengaluru, Allahabad, or Jalandhar Cantt.
- Two stages:
- Stage 1: Screening
- Stage 2: Psychology, GTO tasks, Interview
- Lasts around 5 days.
Medical Examination: Only recommended candidates appear.
Selection will be finalized based on the marks secured in the SSB interview.
Training Details
- Location: Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai
- Duration: 49 weeks
- No marriage allowed during training.
- On completion, candidates get Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management & Strategic Studies.
Tenure & Promotion
- Initial SSC: 10 years (extendable by 4 years).
- Permanent Commission (PC) possible in 10th year (based on merit & eligibility).
